CenCal Health is convening the Community Based Organizations to learn about the transition of the California Children Services effective July 1, 2018.
The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is implementing the “Whole Child Model.”/p>
- Currently, children with CCS eligible conditions receive services in two separate systems resulting in complex navigation and access to care for families.
- This model eliminates the current bifurcated system and strengthens over all access to care creating better health outcomes.
