Mammogram Reminder

As you get older, your chances of having breast cancer go up. 

For women age 50-74, getting mammograms (x-rays of the breast) every 1-2 years is one of the most important things to do. It helps find cancer early–when it is smaller and easier to treat. Finding breast cancer early can help save your life!

Fluoride Varnish

Parents, keep your child’s teeth healthy!

Healthy gums and teeth are important to a child’s teeth. Once your child has a tooth, your doctor may recommend fluoride varnish. Fluoride varnish is a safe product that can strengthen teeth and can be applied 2-3 times per year. Fluoride Varnish is a benefit for CenCal Health members.

Recipe: Watermelon Salsa

Makes 8 servings (1/2 cup per serving)

Ingredients:

3 cups seeded and chopped watermelon

1/2 medium onion, chopped

1/2 red bell pepper, chopped

1 tablespoon seeded and chopped jalapeno

2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

2 tablespoons lime juice

1 teaspoon vegetable oil

Preparation: Mix all ingredients, serve
